Working with high street retailer to provide integrated eCommerce solution

Calendar Club is the UK’s largest calendar retailer by far, delivering seasonal sales in pop up stores across the UK’s major shopping centres and increasingly through their dedicated online stores.  

This is a very seasonal business with over a 1000% increase in monthly traffic during peak season.

The Challenge 

We were asked to provide their own team with dedicated technical support, directly working with their in-house developers and designers. This was a complex solution to step into, with a highly bespoke product catalogue and unique back-office environment.

The Solution 

Calendar Club are continuously assessing and improving their technical approach, and we supported them with many key technical enhancements. We carried out significant changes including a complete platform change of their e-commerce solution, much improved integration with their legacy back-office system, work-flow for deployments as well optimising the solution to manage the variances in traffic.
