Langford Vets is a business with a thriving set of vet practices, specialising in small animal care, farm animals, and horses. 
In addition to Equine, Farm Animal and primary care Small Animal practices, Langford Vets have state of the art diagnostic laboratories and the largest team of Diploma level Veterinary Specialists in the Southwest in their Small Animal Referral Hospital.

The Challenge 
Langford Vets is a complex organisation that was having issues digitally communicating what it does to the outside world. The previous website was overly complex to navigate and find key information. The complexity was also felt by Langford Vet's web team who have the responsibility for keeping the site content up to date.
Stiffer regional competition and the desire to tell the Langford Vets story more effectively were key motivations to make a change. The end of life of Umbraco 7 was also a key driver for this complete overhaul of design and technology.

The Solution 
Element78 conducted a detailed discovery process to help understand what individual business units did, and then converted these findings into a detailed requirements document. It was important that all key stakeholders from each of the business units felt their needs had been addressed.
The modern approach to the Umbraco CMS provides the web team with significant control and flexibility to keep the website relevant for all users.
